Dino Gaudio was fired by Wake Forest as their basketball coach
Wake Forest announced that Dino Gaudio has been fired after three seasons and two appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
Wake Forest started 8-3 in the ACC but they lost 4 of the final 5 regular-season games. Also, in the first round of the ACC tournament, Wake lost. In three season, Dino Gaudio went 61-31 but just got 1-5 int the ACC and NCAA tournament.
Dino Gaudio led the Deacs to a first-round win over Texas who went 27-21 in the NCAA tournament but lost to Kentucky by 30 points in the second round.
Agust 8, 2007, Dino Gaudio was named head coach after Skip Prosser’s sudden death from a heart attack.
