Ohio State’s defensive linebacker Thaddeus Gibson was selected by Pittsburg Steelers in the Fourth Round. The 6-foot-2 and 243 pound outside linebacker from Ohio State, Thaddeus Gibson was also the first Buckeye player chosen during the three-day NFL draft this year.
Gibson is said to be comparable in size to the Steelers’ starting outside linebackers, LaMarr Woodley (6-2, 265) and James Harrison (6-0, 242 pounds).
In three events, Gibson was a top performer among defensive linemen. He also did a position workout with representatives from the Steelers.
