Ricky Martin criticizes Arizona’s Immigration Law

Famous singer Ricky Martin is taking part in the criticism of Arizona’s new law. The said law will allow the police to stop anyone who they think might be an illegal immigrant.

Thursday night at the Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony, Ricky Martin said the the law “makes no sense”. Ricky Martin was given a standing ovation when he was walking on stage. It was one of his first public appearances since the announcement that he is a gay broke out.

Together with Ricky Martin, Mexican pop singer Paulina Rubio and Larry Hernandez, who won Latin Artist of the Year also criticized the law.
