Thailand Prime Minister opens negotiations with Red-Shirt Leader

The Thailand Prime Minister and Red-Shirt protesters who wanted his resignation and new elections have been adjourned, the talk was done Face-to-face. Abhisit Vejjajiva said that he had accepted the offer to talk to the Thailand Prime Minister  in an effort to “restore peace and minimize the chance of violence”. The meetong between the two leaders was broadcasted live on Thai TV.

Before the talk between the Thailand Prime Minister and Red-Shirt protesters, four soldiers were injured after grenades were thrown at a heavily guarded army barracks on the outskirts of the city. The meeting was held at an academic research institute in Bangkok, In the meeting hall two teams of three representatives were present, they all shook hands and then listened politely while the others set out their positions.
