Wrestler Chris Kanyon dies at 40

Former WWE and WCW wrestler Chris Kanyon was found dead in his apartment in Sunnyside. Chris Kanyon was born Chris Klucsaritis.

According to multiple Internet reports, Chris Kanyon’s death believed to be a suicide from overdose pills.

Kanyon was famous in the late ’90s. He wrestled in WCW from the late ’90s to 2001. He worked a few years for WWE after his years of being a wrestler. In the year 1997, he got his first role as masked wrestler Mortis but eventually dropped out that gimmick. He formed a group called Jersey triad together Bam Bam Bigelow and Diamond Dallas Page in 1999.

After a year of facing two injuries, Kanyon was officially released from his contract. Kanyon decided to retire from professional wrestling after he lost a retirement match to Damos Dallas Page in New Jersey.
